Visiting J.P.

A Justice of the Peace is available in Horsham Library every Wednesday from 10.00am-1.00pm.

JPs are volunteers appointed by the Governor-in-Council on the recommendation of the Attorney-General. JPs have the power to witness a range of legal documents, including statutory declarations and affidavits, and to certify true copies of documents.

Booking an appointment is not required, but you can phone the Horsham Library to check the JP is in attendance.
